The Risks of Riding Without Training. . .
Studies have shown riders involved in accidents lack the fundamental knowledge of how to perform the three basic riding skills necessary to ride safely:
• Cornering
• Braking
• Swerving

Basic Rider CourseWhat's Involved?
The Basic Rider Course includes 5 hours of classroom work and 10 hours of riding instruction conducted by certified Rider Coaches. (Motorcycles are provided!)

In Pennsylvania, satisfactory completion of the BRC, which concludes with a riding skills test, earns the student a Class M motorcycle endorsement on his or her driver's license. Further testing at a licensing center is not required. The course provides the student with the entry-level skills that form a basis to begin developing and practicing the mental and motor skills necessary for safe street operation.

Courses are conducted April through October—classes fill up fast!
